Consider the following questions.
Did you experience a traumatic event? Do you regularly relive or re-experience the event? Do you avoid certain people, situations, or places? Do you blame yourself for what happened?
If you answered yes to all or some, then I am here to help you.
Traumatic memories are so emotionally loaded that even the smallest of reminders can cripple you. The sound of a car horn might trigger a panic attack, or a familiar smell can lead to an uncontrollable rage.
Therapy can make a difference.
I help clients transform from survivors to thriving individuals by providing professional and compassionate counseling and creating a safe and nurturing space to openly explore their thoughts and feelings, work through obstacles, and develop coping strategies to improve their overall well-being while processing traumatic memories.
You will feel supported, heard, and guided to lasting positive outcomes during each session.
We will create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. All sessions are confidential and safe, allowing you to express yourself freely. There will be weekly assignments and progress reports.
Hello
My name is Wiliette Sejour-Thelismon, “Ms. Willie”. I am the Founder & Mental Health Therapist of Three Heart Beats Counseling Services. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor based in Margate, FL. I am certified in Trauma, Addictions, DBT and trained in EMDR.
My Story
I graduated with my Masters in Social Work in 2010 from Barry University. I’ve been in the field for over 20 years doing individual therapy, groups, case management services, mental health evaluations; and work with children & families and couples. I started working with adolescents, middle schoolers, when I was in the 11th grade at my church. I didn’t realize I was doing “Social Work” until I started college, learning about the field. In my early years in the field, I’ve watched lives transformed for the better; tears of sadness turned into tears of joy; going from isolation to complete freedom. That’s when I knew this was my calling and purpose. I have experience working with clients dealing with issues such as traumas, substance use, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, including sexual, emotional and physical abuse. I provide professional, compassionate counseling and support to individuals of all ages, who are experiencing emotional challenges, mental health issues or life transitions.
